Eight years ago today I visited Mom and I talked to her about the many good memories I have of her and Dad. I called Bruce in Texas and held the phone to her ear as she clearly recognized his voice. It was his birthday and I sang "Happy Birthday" to him. I climbed into bed next to her and snuggled up close with her. Finally we went home and not long after that, we received word that she was on her way to heaven.

I sure do miss you Mom and think about you often. Every night before I turn off the light next to my bed, I look at your beautiful painting of Hilltop Cottage. It always makes me smile because I cherish the memories of our springtime vacation there many years ago. 

Wow, there are so many wonderful memories of examples of your love. Doug and Bruce were talking about you together recently and I heard them say you were the "best woman in the world." I smiled - such a cute, sweet comment. And they were absolutely right!

You were always giving of yourself to others in so many ways. You lived your life as a true Christian. I'm sure God gave you a golden crown when you got to heaven. If he didn't, I'll give you a big gold star and lots of big happy hugs when I see you again. ♥♥♥♥♥

Yesterday was Mom's birthday and I thought about her off and on all during the day. Today Doug, Wayne & I stopped by the cemetery and paid our respects. It was a lovely sunny day, chilly but pleasant. It's Doug's birthday today and we celebrated at a restaurant in Frederick. Missing you sweet Mom and cherishing so many wonderful happy memories of you. Love for always and forever, Alice

I remember when Mom typed one of my paper's for college. I took her to Denny's in thanks. I got an "A" on that paper.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Ramona. We were friends for many years while she and Bob were living in Crestwood Village. She was quite a lady and will be missed by a lot of us.
