Randy, I've been trying to locate your whereabouts ever since my old mind discovered Facebook. Recently, Dollye Seward Lee posted some grade school pics of Gail and Gloria on our LaFeria Texas Friends page so it got me started again. It's probably been 55 years since you left but I see by some other tributes that you had the nickname of Tex, so you never really left us. Sorry we never got to cross paths again. Maybe later. Stephen

Randy, You were a free spirit and I admired that about you. I was always impressed with your steadfast convictions as well as your strong empathy for the less fortunate. Rest in Peace.

My heart aches for your family. First Gloria left and soon after you joined her. Since Gwen and Chica were young teens they have been friends of my daughters and me too. We don't touch base often but Gwen will text me on special holidays or just special days and I love her for that. Love ya. Gwennie, Chica, see you soon. PatYennie

Randy, we only met twice when I visited Minnesota with your sister Chica and both times we went to Lake City your house was at the top of our list of places to stop. I enjoyed visiting with you both times. I could tell right away what a warm and free spirit you were. I'm so happy I had the chance to meet you. Rest in peace Randy! My Thoughts and prayers are with the Nichols Family! I love you all

"Randy, I didn't really know you as I only meet you one time and it was a warm day in Sept., with Gwen, Dave and three dogs. I live next to Gwen and I just want you to know that you can rest in peace as I'll try to keep in her in line and out of trouble...mind you that is a full time job. :) If you are anything like your sisters I know you had a big heart full of love.

My heart goes out to Randy's family. My memory of Randy goes back to when we were young. I remember his sence of humor and Randy playing the guitar. My thoughts and prayers go out to all family members.

Although we weren't close in distance, I feel we were always close in spirit. Uncle Randy was deeply compassionate, open-minded and a rabble-rouser in just the right way. Full of wit and a perpetual lust for knowledge, even at his age Randy looked upon the world with the eyes of a child and an open heart. I find that incredibly inspirational. His presence will be deeply missed.

Randy, The memories I have of you will forever make me smile..Your quirkiness, your smile, your voice, your caring and compassionate ways are just a few of the things I will miss. You never had a bad thing to say aboout anyone. You never judged anyone.. You are genuine and did not try to impress anyone at any time, I truely wish I could be more like you. Until we meet again..love ya Gwenny

Randy, this is your little sis "Bebita Chica." As much as I didn't like you calling me that I would give anything to hear you say it again. I will miss you very much. I will miss your smile, humor and warmth. Even though our political and religious views were different I admired your free spirit & love for people & animals. I will check in on Carolyn & quatro gatos. Para Siempre, Chica
