His Life

My Friend Randy

May 5, 2014

The man with the big smile and heart has gone on to be with the LORD on Thursday, April 24, 2014 approximately 5:30pm . Randy Faison knew no strangers in Jamaica Queens or anywhere he went. He was amiable, funny, compassionate, strong, caring, and so much more.

Randy was a big brother to many in his neighborhood. On his job he was a leader, go getter, He was a wonderful son to his mother who he cherished so much. He watched over her and protected her daily.

Having touched so many lives the way he did over the years. Randy Faison will be missed daily. Carpenter and Jamaica Avenue in Queens will never be the same. Randy had a way of bringing the life into the room he entered. We invite you to share your stories on this site for the family.

Let us keep the memory of the lively spirit of Randy Faison alive. The way he kept everyone going was amazing. He never let many see him down and out. He was a trooper and although we now know now he had a few health issues. Randy never let us see him down he kept the faith despite of how he felt. He had a zest for life every day. He truly lived a full life. One thing we should have learned form this man is to enjoy life to the fullest. Randy didn't let life pass him by. He did the things he wanted to do and ceased the moments.  Let us all be sure to take time out for the things in life on our bucket list in honor of Randy. May he rest in peace.

BROKEN CHAIN

May 5, 2014

We knew little that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go a alone.  For part of us went with you. The day God called you home, you left us beautiful memories; your love is still our guide.

And, though we can't see you. You are always by our side.  Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.  But as GOD calls us one by one the chain will link again.
