His Life

Family.....

December 13, 2013

Randy was always very close to his mom Jamie and his sister Tracy.  Randy's father preceeded  him in death when Randy was only 11 years old.  He missed his father terribly for his entire life. Because he lost his Dad so young, the remaining family bonded even tighter and closer to each other.  This bond remained intact even when Randy and Tracy grew into adulthood and had children and families of their own.  Randy took what he learned as a boy growing up and applied that to his own family and then to his extended family as his family grew.  Family was always important to him and he was close to all of them.

Fishing!!

December 13, 2013

Randy loved to fish.....

Even though he never could sit still and always had a need to run, when he was fishing he was so relaxed and could do it for hours.  Some of the best times of his life were spent on Canton Lake with his family.  He would get up early in the morning, get the pontoon boat ready and take off for the day.  It didn't matter if the fish were biting or not....he was happiest there.  He also had the great joy of Salmon Fishing in Cheboygan Michigan where he landed the biggest one that day! Such a great time of his life.
