I was thinking the other day about going fishing, and i thought of my brother, and one of our fishing trips. He and  my 4 children(Jamie, Josh, Ashley and D.J.) and i was fishing one spot, my husband (Ricky) was on the other side of the lake. DJ and I were catching brim as about as quick as we would throw our pole in the water. Ray(Catfish) was to right of us a little ways below us, Ashley was beside DJ and I and Jamie and other was to the left, well Catfish was catching small brim...sometime later he yells hey sis watch out for the gater headed your way, I ask where, my kids laugh and say yeah right uncle ray, sure enough here it came but it turned went his way...he decided to come where we were, but was still fishing where he was. anyways sometime later the gator got closer to us, catfish went to tell the kids and we look they were gone to the car left us standing, except for Jamie she taking pictures with her phone lol...It was a good 5 foot or better, anyway Jamie says watch this uncle ray, im going to see what it does she threw her rod and reel out there with a float on it, the gater snapped at it as she was reeling it in, it was cashing the float(cork) it was so funny she was ooooo the whole time...Ray was just a laughing. anyways it came almost in touch range to us thats when ray decided ok close enough. My brother loved fishing and hunting, and he loved animals and nature.....that day fishing with a gater as he called it was one of my most treasure memories, we had a total blast that day....I kept telling him to watch it and be careful when he was fishing below us and the gater was close to him. All i could see was it eating him, or dragging him in the water. He says Oh Sis you been watching to many Sci-Fi movies and to much of Lake Placid :) I really miss those weekends of fishing, and those weekends of Bible Studying With Him......I shall another story soon....Miss you Catfish
