Jamie was a preacher and a good one he insparied me a lot how many preachers do you know that was in as much pain as he was in would still thank god every day for his blessings and sit on the side of the bed and thank god for his children and family and knowing while laying there your wife and best friend in the world was waiting on you to die so they could get married in all of this he still loved god with all his heart and stayed faithful to god till the end i just wish i could be as loving and full of the sprit of god as he was

 i remember once when we lived on flat creek Jamie was about 8 years old he had this ideal he was going to hoist this cinder block up in a tree he got a rope threw it a cross a tree limb and tied it to the block got it about half way up tree came untied and hit his big to on his left foot it was not funny that he got hurt but it was the way he was hopping around and the way he look at us as to say why didn't you tell me that would not work
