Dad in uniform at the age of 21.

Dad in Europe during WWII. He was in Patton's army.

Doesn't he look like a movie star? Taken at Savoy Studio in Philadelphia.

1950 when Mom & Dad married in Las Crusces with Pepa.

1952. A young and happy couple. Taken in the yard at Linden Street, Moorestown.

1953 with first born daughter, Christine, sitting on the couch at Moore Street.

1954-Chrissy,a year old, on his knee in side yard.

This is Dad with daughter Colleen, March 1957. Note on the back states

Painting a bird carving.

This is Dad in his basement workshop where he made wood carvings & paintings. Some of his work can be seen on his daughter's website: colleenhammondart.com

I couldn't resist adding this painting of our home where I grew up. I just love it and will cherish it always.

This is a nice group shot of some of dad's bird carvings. These were all done by hand and either painted with acrylics or colored pencils and sometimes both on one piece.
