Richard Gillam, 40, of Boardman, passed away peacefully, Feb. 14, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 11, 1972, in Youngstown, the son of Allen and June Gillam.
Richard enjoyed listening to music and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Blackhawks.  He enjoyed listening to music, playing video games and making people laugh.  He especially loved to tease his girlfriend Karlie and his niece Ashley.  He enjoyed reading about history and wars. 
He loved spending time with his family, especially his son Landon, and took the most pride in being a great dad. 
He will be dearly missed by Karlie Phipps and their son Landon, of Struthers, his mother; June Gillam, of Youngstown, brothers; Don VanMeter, of Columbus, and Chuckie Gillam, of Youngstown, his sister, Kimberly Fussnecker, of Youngstown, six nieces; Ashley Fussnecker, Ashley Blick, Paige, Kristin, Trisha and Allie, three nephews Boomer, Donnie and Gavin, and Karlie's mother and grandmother; Joann Jones and Mary Arbie.
Richard was preceded in death by his father; Allen, a niece Gia Ricciardi and his grandparents.
