It is not natural to lose a loved one to the enemy death. The Sovereign Lord Jehovah promises at Isaiah 25:8,9 that He will swallow up death forever and will wipe away the tears from all faces. While we patiently wait for the resurrection spoken of at John 5:28,29 we should "search for Jehovah and his strength" through prayer and study of the Bible. (Psalm and 105:4,5) He will give you the strength to endure until you see Richard again.

Even though he wasn't my dad, I still adored him like a second father. Miss you and may you lay in peace.

I miss you everyday, and yes I still cry and weep. its been a long time since you past but the wounds are not closed. they are still very fresh and bleed when I hear your name. I know you wouldn't want me crying when I miss you but that's very hard not to do. you left this world so fast and with out warning, its like a nightmare that's been going on ever since the fateful night. i promise im getting you sun flowers one way or another! i want them to grow as big as yours always did....and i hope your proud of me i know i haven't done much. but i am working on becoming better everyday...i feel as though you live through me and that's what gives me strength. i just pray you keep watch over me and the rest of the family and that you can help guide us in hard times. i love you daddy forever and always.

Memories I Wont Forget

August 23, 2015

I remember all the things we did together and all the times we shared. From the first tooth I lost..... to the last christmas we shared. I remember playing in the back yard with you during summer days and sledding down hills on cold winter days. i remember dressing up on halloween every fall and taking naps during spring when the rain would fall. I remember you teaching me to ride my bike and holding on to my seat so i would not fall and when i did you picked me up with a hug and to dry my tears made me laugh by saying "you must of hit that invisable wall". and fishing trips where great to just our family being out ,having fun laughing and just  casting out...i remember starting school and waiting for my bus with you. you held my hand the whole time and when the bus showed up you gave a hug and kiss good bye and sent me off with "i love you". even in winter months you would take me to the bus stop in your truck to keep us warm and play conway twitty cosets so we didnt get bored.I remember you taking feild trips with me to, we went to the pop corn shop, the childerins musium, and of course the zoo...but my favorite place of all was Richard Forest! I thought it was named after you!. i loved having you on trips to show the other kids how cool you was. you made them laugh and did silly things but i always hugged you tight as if to say "hes my daddy and hes only here for this day of school" I remember the weekends to. saturday morning cerial, wrestleing, and a few cartoons....i could go on forever about times we shared but i cant say i have a favorite because theres so many i cherish..I love you daddy with all my heart i will never forget my memories with you!
