Mr. Barber was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on December 12, 1972, the son of Velma McCormick Barber and the late, David Gordon Barber, Sr… Before he became disabled he was a truck driver for the Wayne Davis Trucking Company. He was a Christian by faith, and loved watching Duck Dynasty, hunting, and fishing. His greatest desire was to be healthy enough to take his son’s hunting. He was a wonderful son, father, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Velma Barber of Roopville, GA.; two sons, Justin and Adam Barber also of Roopville, GA., two sisters, Debbie Hemmings, and Wanda Sellars both of Hogansville, GA.; two brothers, Roger Barber of Villa Rica, GA., and Buddy Barber of Hogansville, GA.; and step sister and brother in law Peggy & Myrl Ray of Elizabeth, LA…
