On Valenitne's Day 1970 in Valley Station Ky,  I met my first love and the man I would marry, Ricky Beeler. It was at Valley Station Roller Rink. He was 18 yrs old and I had just turned 15!! He was soo shy but with the help of his two buddies, He got the courage to ask me for my ph number!! 3 years later on July 14th, 1973, we became man and wife. in the next 5 years, we had purchased our 2nd home and I became pregnant with our 1st child, Taunya Denise Beeler who we instantly fell in love with and she was the apple of her Daddy's eye!! 4 years later, our second child was born, Travis Dean Beeler!! He was our big little Bam Bam and even tho he was a handful, we loved him dearly.
Ricky worked the 3rd shift at Heitzman's Bakery for 18 yrs, only missing 11 days of work. He was a good man, a great father, a good husband, a wonderful respected employee. he was a silly funny man who spoke his mind and was never a put on, always himself. He never met a stranger and had many many friends. His passion for cars, drag racing, music from the oldies fullfilled his dreams but the love he had for his two children and 3 grandsons where unsurpassed. I miss hearing his voice and his Donald Duck impression and so many other things about him. My children, grandchildren and myself were blessed to have been touched by this special human being. He will always have a place in my heart. I know he is watching us from heaven as our guardian angel.
