Ricky Neal Brown, 48, a longtime resident of Durham County passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at his home.

A native of Durham County, he was the son of the late Dan Thomas Brown, Sr. Ricky was of the Baptist faith and worked at AW, North Carolina, Inc. for several years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor. Burial will follow the service at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.

Surviving are his mother, Sylvia Neal Brown of the home; two sisters, Michelle Terry of Durham and Melissa Brown of Chapel Hill; a brother, Robbie Brown and sister-in-law, Ginny of Durham and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Thomas Brown, Sr. and a brother, Dan Brown, Jr.

Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2017 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.
