Here we are again girlfriend. It's so hard to believe the time passed & only I got older. You're our forever young girl. It's been harder this year.. Not having you in person is no easier now than it was last year. I look at your picture & see your smile to remind me to make peace with this thing we call life. Knowing you're there helps.. I'm still here with so many things wrong & not where I belong. You already know everything.. Somebody told me "it was sad I never found lasting happiness." But the Lord watches over angels and fools like me. I think if only you had been given this time, it would have been much better spent. You have love that never leaves us & we still have more for you .I miss you Sweet One.

I think of you each day. I thank God but wish you were here. That's a bad post card when you went to a better place. I know I've had o wait to do his. Bu you know me. I couldn't find the words. I guess I didn't take it so well as you'd have liked. There's one friend in every bunch that doesn't want to believe it's true. The one that wakes up thinking it was just a dream. I know nobody promised time on earth but eternal life. I told you that you were my hero and that will never change. Being human is sometimes being selfish. We wanted to keep you here so much we forgot it's not about us. You're as beautiful as ever in our hearts and minds. I didn't' expect you'd leave so soon. You made me think a lot. Losing you has been difficult for so many reasons, but I did learn from you. I need to live, not wait around for the end. You left life as you lived it, so bravely, radiantly with grace and dignity. I've leaned on faith not to question God's timing. I was told this is our purgatory. If that's what it is, you were taken so quickly because you were so good, so real and something very special, making others feel and look good. I respect how you lived your life.We don't learn from happy things. We learn from loss and pain. What seemed so far off in our younger years, I saw what my mother meant to others and the huge impact she made on earth by your age. You reminded me of her brave spirit after 35 years of missing her, I saw so much alike you were..Although also too young, her suffering was so long and painful. She never complained. Strong willed quietly pushing for normalcy till the end. I wouldn't want that pain over years for you. I've watched one after another leave. I thought about how much you impacted others lives. You were amazing and I am grateful our lives touched for even an all to brief time. I don't believe in accidents and what we had in common. I thought I could help you but, it was the other way around. It wasn't just a God smack but like Cher slapping Nicolas Cage telling him "what's a matter with you". I'm grateful for the time being quality while sharing yourself with so many. Best of all a good, honest and true friend with a contagious smile. So many friends new and old, all walks of life, now honor your memory. You are in hearts and minds always and forever. Until we meet again my sweet friend...

Rina Angel your loving words will always remain in my heart as I make my journey here. But soon dear we will all be there to join you in that mansion in the sky the home our Father has prepared for you and me. Met both Rina & Micheal when they did karaoke. Became fast friends with them. They even took pics of my wedding. With friends like Rina the world is brighter. Your gonna be missed.

I know you're in heaven taking spectacular photos of Bowie, Presley and so many more. That comforts me. I'll miss your positive outlook and your pure honesty but mostly the passion you had for all that you loved, your husband & your work. Oh and then there's that smile.. This is so hard saying goodbye to one of my best friends and "sisters". I take comfort that I was blessed enough to spend her last day with her and other family and friends everyone surrounding her with love. Her beautiful smile and passion for life will brighten Heaven even more and shine a spotlight on Muchael and all of us that knew and loved her.

I only knew Rina as a fb friend, some of her post would make me laugh on a sad day and some days I wished I could have just given her a hug.I really am going to miss you my friend!!

I knew from the minute Yank brought you to my house and introduced us, you were someone special. I wish we lived closer to each other so we could have spent more time together. I cherished the times we did have together. You always had a smile, had such grace and welcomed everyone like family. You were truly a bright spot here on earth. Rest in Peace now, your fight is over. When I think of you, I will smile.

I knew Rina back in the 80s, she was a true sweetheart, I hadn't seen her in years. Yet I already miss her. I'm glad I was able to reconnect with her via Facebook recently. This world was a much better place with Rina in it. She was a very special person. Prayers to Michael & Rina's family, she will never be forgotten.

She was a guiding light for so many people, myself included. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm for life were never-ending and it showed in the photographs she took. I thank her for the knowledge she imparted to me and am sorry we never got the chance to meet in person. One day we will meet in heaven. Be blessed. I will never forget you.

I will always remember Momma for being the most kind-hearted person who never said No. I met her by fate one day as I was having a yard sale down the street from her. When her and Michael came up and saw DJ lights. They talked me out of selling them and coming to work for them. The rest as they say is history. Her smile always lit up even the darkest room. And I know that at from here on out she will be the one, that is right inside the gates of heaven, saying "Welcome to the Party, May your picture?" Love you Momma Rina

I had no idea she was leaving us. Who would have known? Always laughing, always positive. I was convinced she was beating this crap.  Kick it to the curb! That is what we said. I met Rina Marie on RLC 1. She made a huge impression on me. We co- managed Charlie Wooton's fan page. She had the best laugh! The best attitude. The best southern voice...I am from Maryland!  She is ever present in my mind. I know she is flying high, as I heard Tom Petty today, "Learning to Fly", i thought of her. What a party heaven must be with Rina Marie Yanko at the helm. God Bless.

This saddens me , I met Rina and got to know her and Michael in Florida at a "Molly Hatchet", show ! we always talked on facebook and messaged one another, her kindness, Photography ad just the way she was will be missed by any of us !! I was also with them in Miami and we had a beautiful time ! It just isn't right..however I know God had something really special for her to do ! Rina you are Loved and Missed by many!!
