Mom was born in 1951 to Harry and Virginia and she lived in a small town called Leechburg PA. She moved was married to John "Mike" Harwick when she was just 17 years old.  At the age of 20 she had her oldest daugher, Janice Michele, not long after she had John Michael Jr.    In 1974, she became a widow and met Richard Bednas and along came Margaret Marie in 1978.

In 1997 our brother committed suicide and it was really hard on mom.  Then right after that we learned she was ill with a disease that was very rare to hear of called Primary Pulmonary Hypertension...today they call it Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.  In 1998 she began a study drug to try and slow the progression of this disease, since there is no cure other than lung transplant. In October of 1999 her sister Patty passed away from the same disease as mom, due to rejection from her lung transplant from 1991.

Mom was always on the go...she liked to go camping, fishing and traveling when she got the chance.  She liked going to Lake Erie for the weekend at times just to be by the water, even though she couldn't go swimming anymore because of her medicine she had to take.

She loved to collect Lighthouses and snow globes over the years.  She was able to travel to Maryland, Massachussetts and Virginia over the summer months before her health started to decline more than what she was letting anyone know.

She was such a loving person, and would do anything for anyone within her reach and capabilities.  She is sadly missed but will never be forgotten .... We love you Mom,
