This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Rob Williamson, 67, born on July 9, 1945 and passed away on January 29, 2013. We will remember him forever.
Please share your thoughts, photos and stories.
Rob was cared for in St. Johns Hospice, Wirral, by a wonderful team of dedicated nursing staff and volunteers. He was extremely grateful for this and wanted his thanks shared.
Should you wish to donate to the hospice, we have created a donation site on Just Giving, which you can find by clicking here.

Last week I was talking to Nicki. my next door neighbour and she told me when Adam, her 9 year old talented footballer son scores a goal he says it's for Rob and gives thumbs up. It's so touching to know Rob had such an impact on someone so young. (must have been the water fights or when the ball was accidently on purpose kicked over the fence so Rob would throw it back again!)
You keep on scoring Adam, maybe for England one day.
to toast our dear friend and times gone by
Here comes the waiter with more beer
Cheers Rob, we wish you were here!
Lots of love Jackie & Bill xx
I found bob to be a really interesting guy who always fought for what he felt was right. Always smiling and forever helpful. I saw bob as a father figure who will be missed by all at Ferno. I'm sure his infectious laugh will be spreading across the heavens.
Bye bye bob.
Rest in peace my dear friend, I'm already missing you.

Our Happy Memory
From Bradley Thompson (age 11) & Adam Thompson (age 8) - (Next door neigbours )..
When we found out that Rob had died we were really sad. We decided that we were going to have a Happy Memory to think of when we were missing him.
It was summer time and Rob was in his garden watering his flowers. We decided to have a game of football in our garden. Rob popped his head over and had a little chat with us (like he always did) and then went back to watering his flowers......a few minutes later water fired over the fence and hit us....that was it, football stopped and we got our hosepipe out and fired back at Rob....WWIII broke out in Millfield Close. We were hosing Rob and throwing buckets of water over the fence. Rob was firing his hose back at us. In the end we were all soaked from head to toe, water was dripping off us all....it was a great water fight, a great day, a great memory for a GREAT neigbour and friend...xxxx
