Bobby belonged to the Ceres Vaqueros riding club when he was 16. He has a grey dapple mare he named Blue Bonnet. I was 6 years old and he was my cowboy hero. He would sit me on his knee and tell me stories of how we crossed the prairie in a covered wagon and he fought Indians to protect me. I believed every word. When he joined the Navy I missed him immensely and looked forward to when he came home on leave. After I left home I saw Bobby at the Ranch. Then when I was 17 my husband and I moved in with Bobby and Daddy. Bobby and Bob (my husband ) worked together at Ceres Pipe and Metal. We moved out of state but when we were here in California we would visit Bobby at the Whip were he played shuffleboard in tournaments. His wife Fern was always with him. We had many good times together when were young and when were old. I will cherish these memories forever. Wonder if they have horses and shuffleboards in heaven? If not I'm sure he's having fun anyway. Luv u my Cowboy!

My brother & my friend. Fond .memories of hiking to the river and through the mountains in our younger days.  Growing old together the last 15 years has been a blessing.  I will miss you. Rest in peace.

Uncle Bobby - I have such fond memories of swimming at your house, surrounded by family and laughter. Thank you for your mischievous smile, your warm heart, and your generosity. I'm so glad my son got to spend time with you on our RV trip, and now he will have his own special memories of you. We feel blessed to have been a small part of your life. Rest well.
