R.I.P. Bob
Robert "Bob" Reed, 70, of Port Charlotte, Fla, passed away peacefully at the Douglas T. Jacobson Veterans Nursing Home in Port Charlotte, Fla. Thursday, January 22,2015.
He was born in Clyde, Ohio on July 12,1944 and grew up in California before settling in Port Charlotte in 1978. He worked for United Telephone Company in Punta Gorda and opened Phoneman Communication and Security Co. in 1984.
He was a loving husband to his wife Patricia and a devoted father to daughters Deborah (Tom) Puccio and Suzanne (Tony) Thomann.. He also leaves grandchildren Jessica (Marshall) Smith and Chris Puccio and great-grandchildren Brody and Elle Smith.
Before his illness he was an active member and beloved elder at the Edgewater Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 17520 Lake Worth Blvd., Port Charlotte where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31,2015

Uncle Bill (Bob) will be greatly missed but we have fond memories. He was always there as a brother in the truth and an excellent elder. He would always be encouraging even when you would ask him how he was, he would say "Lovely, just lovely". We have a beautiful hope for the future, waiting to see him again in the beautiful new world, where suffering and pain will be no more. Revelation 21:4.
