Mr. Chandler is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Charline Chandler of Lanett; three daughters, Kathy (Phillip) Dukes of Lanett, Deborah Elizabeth Chandler (Daryl Martin) of Hemphill, Texas and Lisa (Tommy) Wade of LaGrange; his son, Tony (Brittney) Chandler of  Lanett; one sister, Doris (Jack) Turner of Lanett; two brothers, Eddy (Diane) Chandler of Lanett and Richard (Erlinda) Bolt of LaFayette; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Johnny) Johnson, Robert Cody Foster, Tiffany Robinson, Donavon McClurg, Amber Wade, Blake Wade and Lewis Reid Chandler;  14 great-grandchildren; two very special nephews, Shane Chandler and Patrick Bolt; and a very special  niece, Denise Clark;

Born June 30, 1933, in Chambers County, Mr. Chandler was the son of the late Roy Sr. and Ruby Norton Chandler. He was a lifelong resident of Chambers County. Mr. Chandler served in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he achieved the rank of sergeant. He was employed with the Lanett Police Department from 1968 to 1980. Mr. Chandler was the owner of Troup Bonding Company and Rental Property Management in Lanett. Bobby enjoyed Atlanta Braves baseball, Alabama  football, fishing and spending time with his friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Lamar Chandler; three sisters, Elizabeth Smith, Inez Hudmon and Shirley Drennon; and one brother, Roy Chandler Jr.
