The son of the late Norman and Eula Clay Walker Pierce, Robert was born in Columbus, Georgia on April 24, 1950. He was a 1968 graduate of the William H. Spencer High School, and was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of St. James AME Church and was preceded in death by a brother McNeal Caldwell.
Surviving his departure with cherished memories, include: his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Barbara Miller Pierce; son, Robert C. Pierce, Jr.; daughter, Latavia Pierce-Williams (Lancelot); a grandchild, Nefertari Williams; a brother, Norman Caldwell (Beverly); one sister, Eula Caldwell; loving in-laws, Martha Caldwell, Edward Knox, Kenneth Knox and Kirk Knox; other relatives and friends.
