Mr. Robert Earl Nickelson, 73, of Warsaw, N.C. died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at home.Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Rainbow Missionary Baptist Church, Warsaw, N.C. Reverend Willie Powell will be officiating. Visitation will be at Hawes Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw, N.C. from 5:00p.m.- 7:00p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013. Interment will be the Houston Cemetery, Warsaw, N.C.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 50 years, Helen Nickelson; six daughters, Minister Sheila Glaspie(Earl) of Magnolia NC, Teresa Hill(Lynn) of Clinton, Shelly Carr(Minister John) of Kenansville, Flora Smith(Deacon Thurman), Cynthia Powell(Reverend Willie), Margurite Lee(Monroe) all of Warsaw NC; three sons, James Hill(Geraldine) of Rose Hill NC, Anthony Nickelson(Neena) of Warsaw NC, Joseph Cole(Mary) of Magnolia NC; a host of grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
