Dad was born on November 14, 1925 in Sioux City, Iowa.  His Mother passed away on November 5, 1933.  His Dad worked for the Railroad.  He had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He only has 1 surviving sister left.  He lived with his grandmother who was from Scotand until he joined the Navy at the age of 17 and spent the next 26 years.  He met and married Lillie Hughes on May 1, 1953 and to this marriage 3 children were born.  Patti, Bobby and Bill.  Dad retired from the Navy in 1969 and we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he worked for Bama Pies until he got a job in Oklahoma City with Tinker Air Force Base.  He and Mom divorced in 1972 and in 1974 Dad married Martha  They bought an RV and started traveling until they settled in Mission, Texas.  When Dad started getting sick He and Martha moved back to Oklahoma City in April of 2007and he passed away on January 26, 2008 from complications from his diabetes.
