His Life

Dad's life in short

March 3, 2016

My father was born in Coucil Bluffs, Iowa in 1931. He was in the US Air Force and owned several successful businesses throughout his life. All of those businesses he shared with my mother, Devonia Mae Brich (Carlson). My parents were married and my father passed away on January 23, 2016 just short of one month in which they were to celebrate thier 63rd wedding anniversary on Feburary 14, 2016.

My Dad was a kind, funny man with a quiet dimeanor and great sense of morality and humor. He was a perect blend of ethos/pathos. He wasn't a pushover. He just knew how to deal effectively with all people. My Dad instilled in me a great kindness and a tremendous love of nature and wildlife. My Dad was a down-to-earth man and he loved nature just as much as it loved him back. He grew fruit and vegetables and when we operated a small ranch in Elk Grove, CA we had horses, chickens, pigs, cows, goats and sheep. What a blessing my Dad was not only to his large family (10 siblings) but to all neighbors and our extended family and friends.

My father's birthday came and passed this year as did my parents' anniversary.  I created this website for my Daddy and the family so if you knew my Dad or just want to stop by and share your condolences, all are appreciated. I will be adding photos as I can. Thanks for sharing and stopping by.
