Robert (Bob) Joseph Cunningham, 81, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Odyssey Hospice in Las Vegas, NV.  Bob was born October 27, 1930 to Thomas Joseph and Sarah Ann (Boyle) Cunningham in Pittsburgh, PA, the youngest of 7 children.

Bob proudly served in the Marines (1951-1954) during the Korean War as a Sergeant.   After his service in the Marines he met and married his wife of 57 years, Sarah Mae Doran.  Bob then went on to attend Duquesne University where he earned a degree in accounting.  

He then began a long career mostly in the Mining/Oil & Gas industries until his retirement in 1993 from Cyprus Amax, as Manager of Administration in Bagdad, AZ.  During his retirement years, he resided in Prescott Valley, AZ where he enjoyed golfing, reading, watching Notre Dame football, bartering tax preparation services, and visiting his family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sarah; daughter, Deborah Cunningham of Las Vegas, NV; sons Robert (Julie) Cunningham of Charleston, SC, Thomas (Sherri) Cunningham of Billings, MT, Michael (Michelle) Cunningham of Folsom, CA; 8 grandchildren, Blair, Bret, Geoffrey, Connor, Jordan, Kyle, Drew, and Clare.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sarah;  and siblings, Thomas, John, Vincent, Martin, Clare Klemm, and Patricia Binder.
