His Life

Robert Lee Mims was born on August 17, 1965 to Sis. Doris Jean Mims and the late Tommie Lee Jenkins, Sr. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He was a 1983 graduate of Bullock County High School. He was employed with Bullock County Commission District 4 for twenty-three years.

He was united in Holy Matrimony with Ms. Felicia Feagin in 1996.

He was preceded in death by one brother SGT. Elijah Mims, Jr. and grandparents Mrs. Bernice Baker-Mims, Elijah Mims, Sr. and Mrs. Channie Jenkins and Mr. Johnny Jenkins.

Robert made the transition from his earthly home to his Heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 30, 2015 at his home.

His memories will be forever cherished by his wife Mrs. Felicia Mims, mother Doris Jean Mims, two sisters, Mary Ann Mims, Union Springs, AL and Lois (Alonzo) Ivey, Chicago, IL, sixbrothers, Bennie (LaTresha) Mims, Midway, AL, Fitzgerald K. (Felicia) Mims, Charles (Regina) Mims, and Komet Todd all of Union Springs, AL, Tommie l. (Vandester) Jenkins, Atlanta, GA and Richard Baskin, Saginaw, MI, three brothers in law, Keith Feagin, Kamondra Pritchett and Raynaldo Pritchett all of Union Springs, AL, two sisters in law, Michelle (Tommy) Pritchett-Cope and Stephanie Pritchett both of Union Springs, AL.

Special friends, Henry Jenkins, Charles Bean, Charles Johnson, Ray Charles Baskin, Grover Carr and Jimmy Anthony all of Union Springs, AL along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and neighbor friends.
