I'll never forget our fishing trip with Bob, Marilyn, Genny, myself and a trunk full of beer to Brownsville, Tx to catch us some fish and drink some beer! Only problem we had to drive through Donna, Tx where I got my first speeding ticket!! And Bob's words to me? " thank God I wasn't driving!" I realized on that trip how much of an angel you were making sure we all had everything we needed you went out of your way to make sure we were comfortable and you put up with us that entire week! I have wonderful memories if you bob and I will always smile when I think of them! Thank you....

Bob was a one-of-kind, operative word being kind. He loved my sister, family and friends. Well, let's not forget he loved to fish as well! I enjoyed fishing with him and listening to all of the "mis-adventures" of Marilyn and Bob's trips to the coast and lakes in TX.
I will miss you dearly! Rest in peace in that big boat in heaven and catch a couple for me Bob.

For Bob

It's hard to say goodbye old friend
So hard to let you go
Many adventures left unfinished
And stories left untold

Like a salty old sailor
Your legacy lives on
Every gust of the wind
Is singing your song

Looking out at the sea
Past the mist and the fog
Somewhere on the horizon
You are sailing along

There are not enough words that can describe what you meant to me and my family. Many, many, precious memories of our friendship throughout the years. You were very loved and will be missed.

Uncle Bob...my only blood relative uncle...I miss u!! My favorite memory is when u and I sat I my room in New Mexico...talked about "things" we had done growing up that we probably shouldn't have...its funny how two people a generation apart could do the same silly things growing up...my favorite part of that night was listening to Pink Floyd the wall album beginning to end. Thank you for the memories, for being my friend and for loving your family with everything you had. Rest peacefully my love! Love u forever.

Uncle Bob was a lot of fun, alway had a smile for you and an infectious laugh. I didn't get to see he as often as I would have liked, but the times we did have together were great. You are loved and will be missed.

"Come to San Antonio and put your wallet away!" he said. Bob knew what to see and where to eat when we visited. First class all the way, because that's how he rolled. A man who loved his family and his friends.
There is one thing that he didn't love and that was being cold! His summer visits to Connecticut included extra sweatshirts for every fishing trip!
Bobby, as i called him, was proud of his Texas and his politics and I respected him for his point of view. He was my friend.
I am missing you now.

Dearest Daddy,
You have shown me what it means to love. What we endure, the strength we find in our darkest moments, the tears we cry or try not to cry because we love so much. I am so grateful to have shared this love with you. I will look at the world as that much brighter because you were my sunshine. And I will carry your light into the world so that you will go on shining.

Bob was an amazing guy! I loved his easy going way and his cheerful nature. We often talked on the telephone because we lived so far apart and I always looked forward to chatting with him. I could almost see his smile over the phone. I am going to miss sharing our fishing stories and joke telling. I will remember you Bob Mullen!

Younger brothers!!! What a wonderful mix of descriptions come immediately to mind, Pesty, full of mischief, nosey, into my stuff, tattletale, suddenly confidant, protector, dear friend, sharer of parent issues, kid issues and both good and bad news . After I lost my dear Jack ,Bob helped fill a void of "who can I tell anything and everything to with no fear of condemnation" He was a great force in my life and I so loved him.The best part is he so loved me too. He will be so,so missed.
