Robert W. Hall was born May 14, 1924 to Budd E. and Kathryn Caroline Hall in Pierce County.  He had 3 sisters, Thelma (Leu), Edna (Wichman) and Kathryn (Wanke) and one brother, Elwin Hall, all older than he. He graduated from Pierce High School and the University of Nebraska where he studied Business Administration.  He married Marilyn McMillan on June 2, 1951.
