Robert spent his formative years in Lanett, Alabama. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1964.

Robert fondly and enthusiastically worked as a self employed auto mechanic. If there was a car problem, he wouldn't “quit” until it was resolved. He was truly the jack-of-all-trades.

Robert married Gilda Altman on July 7, 1998 in Brooklyn, New York.

A Time To Share

Robert was known for his love for others. He offered help to those that he felt were in need. Robert enjoyed serving others, working, talking, joking, having fun, and most importantly, caring for his family.

Robert departed this life on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife,
