Bob was born In Liverpool - went to school in Liverpool, Bangor, and Cumbria.
Served in the army with the rank of staff sgt with service in the Far East. On leaving the army he became a rubber planter in Malaysia and was the manager of several estates there. He married Audrey in 1956 at St. Paul's Church, Walkden  and they honeymooned in Cornwall. Their daughter Karen was born in 1957 followed by their son Philip in 1961. and they lived in Little Lever, Lancs until moving to North Wales in 1970. 
He had two grandchildren - Nicola and Matthew. He loved all his family dearly.
Bob's hobbies were fishing, walking our west highland terrier dogs, travelling, football.  
He was a loving, generous, friendly man and the best husband anyone could have.
We were married 58 years and I loved him dearly and always will.
