Robin will be missed by all our family, in my adult life we saw each other only occasionally, but she stayed in touch with my sister all the time. When she arrived in our family I was lucky enough to be there and see the love she was given. I baby sit her every summer until she was 9 ( what fun we had swimming and doing crafts) , at 9 she was a flower girl in my wedding. She came to Oregon for a funeral and we got to see each other again, I was hoping now that I was in Oregon I would see her more.
Her grandaughter looks just like her.
I loved her and will always remember her. I pray for her family, and thank you for diong this to remember her.
Auntie Robin to the rescue
One summer when our kids were young, we travelled to Sooke to visit. Scooters were very popular at the time, and our youngest Julie had one, as did Daniel,I believe. We all went for a walk, scooters included. The scooter riders went down a fairly steep hill. Julie being a bit of a daredevil joined in. She crashed and ended up with a large area of road rash on her hip and leg (she still has scars on her hip). Auntie Robin pulled out her first aid kit and calmed Julie down. She then calmly and competently treated Julie's "wounds" and all was well.
Auntie Robin saved the day! Always remembered as my 3 kids favourite Auntie.
