One of life's true gentleman,one of a hell of a great guy very fond memories and loved by all. It was a pleasure to of served with Big Ron he is sadly missed by all.

A larger than life character. Remember him as a gentle giant unless you did the wrong thing during driver training. Sad, sad loss to the Coldstream family.

Ron whenever i think of you the first thing in my mind is Big Ron life's perfect gentleman,the second is how so very kind you are all the lifts to Swindon you never asked for a penny knowing i didnt have one,The advice on being a good Coldstreamer was free of charge, I only hope having used that advice during my 24 yrs as a Coldstreamer i never let you down.I dont know what mission God had that day but it must have been one only the best could deal with or He would not have taken you.My dear Ron your always be in my thoughts see you again old friend.

The thing I remember most about Ron was that he was always cool, calm and collected. He'd look at all the excitable NCOs running around shouting and yelling and he was just an island of calm.

Never phased, and always had time for you.
