His Life
December 26, 2014

Mr. Dewberry was born June 21, 1942 in Newnan to the late Pete Dewberry and Gracie Ruth Farmer. Among his favorite pastimes were watching dirt track racing, playing slot machines, and fishing with his family. He worked as a dye and tool machinist for Douglas and Lomason until his health began to fail him. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, he had a special love for his pets: his dog, Daisy, and his cat, Roscoe.

Survivors include: his wife, Betty Jean Dewberry of Franklin; four daughters and sons-in-law: DeAnn Bright (Dorough) of Newnan, Rhonda Long (Franklin) of Newnan, Denise Parker (Keith) of Section, AL; and Amanda Peppers (Shannon) of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell Mitchell Dewberry (Berdie) of Section, AL; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Jackie Dewberry (Martha) of Senoia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
