My dear sweet Rosa, I still remember everything about you! Those sweet cubby cheeks and those sweet little fingers are what I miss the most! I wish I could hold you again and tell you just how much you meant to me. You really helped humble me as a person and strengthen me as a nurse. I think about you often! I really hope you know how loved you are! Although you are greatly missed, my spirit tells me that you are so happy in heaven! I will love you always sweet girl! Love nurse Michelle

<p>The day finally arrived for a beautiful gathering of family members to come together in remembrance of you - our Angelbaby - Rosa Inez...We all rode to the lake in 5 car convoy - everything loaded n packed in all of the cars to spend the weekend at the lake until Sunday - the day of your dinner n remembrance...As soon as we got there your auntie Oleta's dad who you met before - well he had the boys looking for wood to get the fire started n it would burn til we leave - this comes from your native side ...Then we watched n laughed as we were to see who was to be the one to  get the fire started - your big Cuzn Chris n Uncle Jeff got it going n it blazed good til we left...We went n watched all your family swim n play - your nephew baby Alex said he was doing everything for you because you didn't get to because God took you to Heaven...We got lost on the hiking trail - bet you got a laugh out of that - huh Rosa.. We made hotdogs n hotlinks n made smores ...You had family come - a few friends - a lot of your kid cuzns came ...I felt good n knew that no matter what I was going to do my best to make a beautiful n fun day for you Rosa - our neice...To show your mother that we are here n she's not alone - all she has to do is pick up the phone..We will gather every year in memory of you ...Next year we will try someplace new... As more family came it was such a blessing to know that they thought of you on this day n did whatever it took to make it this way...There was so much going on all at the same time - kids running n laughing n playing - fishing - stories being told - all Lasted well off into the night...It was about 3-4 in the morning before everyone finally wound down n got tired..All except your auntie n papa Brown ...We were the only ones left around the fire til the break of dawn...You know I never just sat n watched the sun rise - I must say it was beautiful - as if I just knew it was more than just you looking down upon us...As day broke Brown n I began to get everything situated for the day is Sunday now - n its time for auntie put her game face on...We lit up that grill n the day started...One by one they started to wake- Uncle Jeff got up n him n a crew of your boy cuzns went fishing... Your cuzn Nena helped your auntie Oleta out with decorations - pink n white n yellow n purple n green those were your colors this year ...There was a pretty wreath n pretty flower vases that your auntie Oleta made this year - from deep within her soul ...Your cuzn Ease made cakes n your other cuzn Kali decorated them ...Your big Cuzn Cheryl locked her keys in the trunk the night before - she didn't know but we laughed at her running in circles bcuz when she woke she was still running in circles - bet you laughed n giggled at that ..huh Rosa ...Your Cuzn Vanessa n Sis (Jen) helped get the food prepared - I started the grill but your big Cuzn Chris finished it - we had ribs n chicken n burgers n hotdogs n hotlinks - your grandma made potatoes salad n baked beans - we had so much food that took seem like forever to make but took only 5 minutes to be ate ...your neice yaya  decorated the poles by the front door with pink n yellow n white n purple...The eldest of our family your great aunt Mona n Alvin  was there all weekend with us - she even brought your Cuzn baby Frank n he did not want to leave - Your big Cuzn Levi n Tiff n all 8 if their kids came out - auntie was happy - I felt good inside n my chest stopped hurting as I looked around n seen all these faces not including the ones who surprised us..The Star gals showed up my other favorite cuzns n Baby Keagen - now that was a blessing to see his Lil face there...He's a fighter just like you Rosa...Baby Minxie Rose was unable to attend its OK she was just with her grandparents... You know your Bubba tata told me he had so much fun n auntie is glad..Cuzn Chris opened up with prayer n spoke n sang in creek - that's the Native tribe your from..We ate - everyone talked n laughed n hid the tears - knowing this has been the hardest 2years ever ...We took pictures of everyone - they were all wearing your beautiful face on T- shirts...We did a balloon release 44 to be exact one for every month we had witb you...We went to the lake n auntie put rose petals in the lake as we put lite up lotus flowers in the lake before dark...It was a beautiful day especially with the family coming together n each helping in all that took place ...All this we did from the bottom of our heart - I didn't want the day to end but one by one we finally had to part ...Mvto to the creator our lord our father for letting us have a beautiful memory to forever hold in our hearts...I MUST SAY IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL N BLESSED DAY...</p>
