Her Life

Rosa Raye - How she's remembered

July 26, 2013

Rosie lived her life in a manner that we would all do well to emulate. She was always happy by nature, regardless of the circumstances.  She met life’s disappointments and adversity with a smile on her face, and her eternal faith that God’s Will shall prevail. She served as an inspiration to the young people who always seemed drawn to her.  All were welcomed into her home, and into her life. And regardless of the time, we were always encouraged to sit down, have a bite to eat, and talk a while.  Her optimism and goodness, and especially her smile were contagious. Her influence on so many friends and family continues still today. Memories of her spirit, her unconditional love, and her wonderful sense of humor will remain with us forever.
