|For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ which is far better. Philippians 1:21:23|
This memorial website was created in memory of our mother, Rosalie Gooch, whom we love dearly and will cherish forever. Mom, 76 years young, born on March 4, 1939 and passed away peacefully on February 19, 2016. She was loved by all who knew her. Mom, we will love you always and remember you forever.
"Mom, I thought of you all day yesterday. Somehow we carry on without you but we miss you so much! So glad you are with Jesus!"
Just thinking of you today wondering what kinds of activities you are doing in heaven? I hope and expect you are having a wonderful time! I am sure that you are missing me so I wanted you to know I think of you every day, but I guess you knew that already.
I love you Mom,
"MIssing you today Mom! That smile and sweet voice I could always rely on hearing.
"Been missing Mom today especially. And then I saw this, a gift from her and God I think. Today is my Mom's 77th birthday. She moved to heaven two weeks ago today It has been a quiet day so far, just thinking about how precious and sweet and beautiful she is, and how she always blessed everyone with kind encouraging words. She had some tough days the last two years since her watershed stroke. She bore it all with dignity and grace, never complaining. I believe she just wanted to spend a little extra time with us before moving on. Thank you for staying here with us for awhile. I treasure the extra moments I had with you, and I will see you soon! I love you Mom!
As I Sit in Heaven
And watch you everyday
I try to let you know with signs
I never went away
I hear you when you're laughing
And watch you as you sleep
I even place my arms around you
To calm you as you weep
I see you wish the days away
Begging to have me home
So I try to send you signs
So you know you are not alone
Don't feel guilty that you have
Life that was denied to me
Heaven is truly beautiful
Just you wait and see
So live your life, laugh again
Enjoy yourself, be free
Then I know with every breath you take
You'll be taking one for me...SHARE"
"Happy birthday Rosalie! Hope you enjoy the roses Ron sent you. I'm sure they are beautiful just like you. Heaven must be a wonderful place and I'm sure you were glad to see those who got there before you. Love that you can dance and sing again...another angel in heaven. Happy birthday. Desiree"
"Please know that many caring thoughts are with you during this time of sorrow. I feel blessed that I got to meet and work with Rosalie at Texas Department of MHMR. She became a very dear friend and I feel fortunate to have so many wonderful memories. I will never forget her beauty, sweet smile, kindness and humor. I will miss her, but never forget her."
"Sandra and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Rosalie's family. We worked with your Mom for many years at Texas Department of MHMR. Rosalie always had such a positive and uplifting attitude and a never ending smile. She was much like a spring flower in the dead of winter. We will miss her greatly."
I miss you so much already. Your grace and dignity is so inspiring to all of us. A true lady. I love you mom.
"Rosalie, I will always love you. You were one of the strongest and most faithful women I've ever had the honor to know. You are an example of beauty, grace and love."
