Leave a tributeI have fond memories of spending time with your mother at family outings at your home. I know she was a great comfort to you and all the family.
I will be with my 100 year old mother in NYC to celebrate the New Year but will be with you in spirit when you celebrate the wonderful life of Rose.
See you soon.

Rose and the neighborhood
We had the pleasure of knowing Rose as the grandmother of our son's best friend and, our family's second son, Jake Lyon. Rose lived near us in two different locations, both of which I recall Jake being intentional about sharing with us that he was going to visit his grandmother after he left a visit in our home. I remember being in awe of her beautiful silver hair and good natured, down to earth personality.
It is clear that Rose served as a grounding post for the Lyon family and I know that many hearts are broken that she is no longer here amongst us. She left a legacy of strong family ties which are carried on by Dan and Kaye and their children Jake, Katie, and Chris.
I am grateful to have known Rose and watch her cheering her grandchildren at King's sporting events....it was evident that she deeply loved her family and was their biggest fan.
My heart goes out to the Lyon family and I pray the warm memories will soften the sadness of loss.
