Rose was brought up in Deptford,Nj and Plantation, Fla. She is pre-deceased by her father Donald Hassel, mother Emily(nee Strauss), sister Christine and her beloved husband John Ferraro. Rose is survived by a daughter Lisa Marie, three grandchildren Taylor, Rayna,Micah, her four sisters Deborah, Donna, Barbara, Jahn-Marie, brother Dennis and many nieces and nephews.

She worked as a legal secretary for many years. She settled with her family in Somers Point, NJ where she lived till her passing.

Always there for her family and friends she provided unconditional love, she was always helping, whether it was a ear to listen to our problems or a place to live. She touched many lives in her 63 years and will be sorely missed.

Rose faced many adversities and challenges in her life. Whether it was surviving cancer or the death of her husband she came through it all with strength and determination.
