Ross D. Furry, 66, past Executive Director of Public Risk Management in Florida, passed away August 4, 2015, at Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia, Florida.  He was a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida. Ross was a graduate of Arsenal Technical H.S. in Indianapolis, attended Memphis State Univ., and was a graduate of the University of Indianapolis.

Ross is survived by two sons:  Jason (Rhonda) and their sons, Brandon and Braxton; and Scott (Kathie) as well as his sister, Carol Raabe (Karl) and their son, Samuel.

Ross leaves behind his wife, Donna, and her children:  Shannon (Charlie), Doug (Jen), Greg (Jackie), Richie (deceased), and their children.
