This picture tells a story. My father is not looking at the camera, but rather his wife and his true love.

I miss you Dad

November 23, 2010

To my Dad :

You were taken from me when I was young.  Not a single day goes by that I don’t think about you, wishing you were still here with me. I sometime’s feel cheated that I lost you so soon.  I still get sad and I still cry because your not here with me. I missed you not being here to share in the joy of my children being born, watching them grow up to be the best a parent could ever hope for. You would be very proud of them, I know I am. I missed you not being here to see the love that I have for my Grand-babies, the laughter that they have brought into my life, and how very special each and everyone of them are too me and so dear to my heart. I miss your thoughts on many things as I got older, about my first car, my first date, my first house, or just to talk about my thought’s and dream’s in life with you. Did I do the right things? Would you approve of my decision’s that I have made in my life? Would you have told me to do anything different, because you only wanted the best for me? I miss those things and many more. Memories of you will live on forever in my heart.

I love you, Forever and Always.

My Dad

November 23, 2010

My Dad was a great man who loved his family very much. He put his heart and soul into making us the best kids ever. He worked hard to provide for us, working long hard hours at time’s to make sure we had everything we needed. He stood up to protect us at all cost. When thing’s were out of his control, he fought even harder, sometime’s with a lot of pain and heart ache, but he stood strong and he fought till the end. He was stern at time’s if he needed to be, he was only making sure we did the right thing. He was kind, loving and faithful family, we always had his open arm’s to run too if we were scared, or just wanted to sit on his lap. He loved my Mom very much. I remember him hugging and kissing her, he would look at her and smile and that would make her smile. They were happy, and they were in love. “That was my Dad, he was LOVE.”
