Mrs. Ruby Reveter of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House at the age of 79. She resided at 2202 E. 7th Street.

A Columbus, GA native born on March 31, 1935, Mrs. Reveter was the daughter of the late George and Jena Williams Wiley. A product of Muscogee County School District, she was a 1954 graduate of William H. Spencer High School. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and its Matrons Ministry. She retired after over twenty years as a Counselor at Elizabeth Sheppard Home For Girls. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Reveter and two brothers, Clarence and Joseph Wiley.

Surviving are two sons, Bernard Francis(Vickie) and Michael Reveter; two grandchildren, Valecia Talley(Damon) and SGT Lontray Freeman(Danielle); four great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Catherine Wiley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
