1SG Retired Russell Scott of Gleason, TN., formerly of Columbus, passed away Monday at Hillview Elder Care Community Center in Dresden, TN. He was 80 years old.
1SG Scott will be laid to rest at Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, GA., on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 following a 11:00 A.M. Homegoing Celebration in the sanctuary of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Pastor James A. Alexander, Sr., will officiate.
Visitation 3:00 til 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to Progressive Funeral Home, Inc.
