truly miss the special times when it was just mom and me i remember she would just stare at me and say i love you and we loved watching the cubs games her on the couch and i would sit next to her on the floor and she would play with my hair  my mom also loved bingo i would always go with her she would always meet with her friends at bingo night and i liked playing in the concession stand i would always bring my mom and her friends coffee or munchies you sure did like yelling bingo we would stop after and get ice cream i loved shopping with my mom one day my school called and told my mom that she needed to buy me some clothes she cried cause we didn't have money i was so mad at the school for telling my mom i told her mom as long as I'm happy its none of there business. i didn't care about dressing nice those things didn't matter to me i knew we had a home in which she scraped up to pay the mortgage payments and utilities and upkeep so there wasn't allot of money but one thing our house was a home and we will always know that she made it home sweet home even friends of my brothers cause he was in the service would bring solders home with him and the would pay my mom to wash and iron there clothes and all of them would sleep in the living room my mom didn't turn anyone down with the extra money she always managed to have holiday meals and for Christmas presents i sure miss her so

mom what i miss is you teaching us to cook we would all be involved in preparing a thanksgiving feast it had to be done right and you never turned down anyone that was hungry with the tough times we managed you did a good job raising us our friends always bragged about your cooking and baking, and the neighbors always said you hung your laundry out on the line in the yard so well and your vegetable garden was beautiful and your roses that climbed on the side of the house everyone would look when going bye even though you raised seven kids of your own you looked after your grand-kids as your own and for that they love you and respect you for everything you sacrificed you might not of had nice clothes but you didn't care as long as we were happy you also taught us respect our selves and our bodies i remember you were so proud of me when I graduated from high school you know I did that for you also taught us to rely on our selves and not to rely on anyone else  it made us girls strong and not to give up but to stand strong for our believes and morals and respect  there for mom i love you
