Ruth Rose Roberson Jeffcoat, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Granville Medical Center.

Ruth was a native of Granville County and the daughter of the late Walter Richard Roberson and Effie Webster and the widow of Monroe Jeffcoat. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a retired homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday December 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Baptist Church by Rev. Daniel Barham and Rev. Neil Woodlief. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivng are a son John Jeffcoat (Elaine) of Knightdale, three daughters, Maxine J. Cox (Randy), Debbie Ramsey (Larry) and Mary Weary (Ronnie Weary) all of Oxford, a son-in-law, Danny Henley, thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her husband Monroe Jeffcoat, a daughter, Linda Henley, one grandson, Gregg Ramsey and one great grandson, Andrew Hobgood, four sisters and eight brothers.

Visitation will be held Tuesday December 5, 2017 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral at Corinth Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Maxine Cox.
