Her life....

Ruth L Tanguay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was 73 years old when she passed in Sebastian, FL. Ruth L (Delisle) Tanguay formerly of Dracut died peacefully on Monday January 16 at Palm Garden Nursing Home after  lengthy illness.

She was the beloved wife of Arthur M. Tanguay, to whom she was married for 54 years. Ruth was born on October 25 1938 in her home in Dracut MA. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Regina (Bisson) Delisle. She received her early education in the Dracut school system and was a graduate of Dracut High School in the class of 1957.

After graduation, Ruth was busy raising her family. She worked for McDonald Oil, was a Tupperware Manager, and later retired from Continental Insurance.
Ruth enjoyed her retirement home in Florida, and loved to spend time at the beach or by the pool with Arthur. She also enjoyed making puzzles and gardening, but what she really loved most was spending time with friends and family.


 In addition to her husband, Ruth will be sadly missed by her four children, Daniel Tanguay of Pepperell, Debra Kilcher and her husband
Eugene of Townsend, Gary Tanguay and his wife Christine of Litchfield, NH, and Kevin Tanguay and his wife Donna of N.Chelmsford; 8 grandchildren Jennifer Borodawka, Heather Ramalho,David Ramalho Jr,Travis Tanguay, Cameron Tanguay, Keegan Tanguay, Colin Tanguay, and Kaylee Tanguay. Also 4 great grandchildren.

Ruth is also survived by 2 sisters; Sister Loraine Delisle of Ohio,and Eileen Turcotte and her husband Arthur of Dracut. Ruth was predeceased by her stepmother, Loretta Delisle who raised her from the age of 4. She was also the sister of the late Richard Delisle. 

 A Chapel service will be held at St Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Road Chelmsford on February 1st,  2012 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown,Ma 02472.
