His Life
September 14, 2013

for as long as i can remember, there have been very few happy times in my life.the most significant ones were when my children were born. first my daughter michelle, then my son ryan, the my daughter taylor. to be honest, i think i strutted like a peacock just a bit more when ryan was born but i love all three of them more than life itself. ryan was special. he and i have always been close. he became the man i could never be. i admired his enthusiasm for life and cars and trucks and hunting and fishing. we did everything together. i taught him all i could and in the end, he taught me a few things. he always wanted to help me build or fix things. that's how he learned his fractions. getting tools for me. he was always "inventing" things. like putting a snow plow, which he built from some scrap lumber, on the front of his wagon. or building a trailer and taking neighbor kids for rides on it. i was with him when he shot his first deer and caught his first fish, rode his first motorcycle, and got his first truck.i was there for him for his first heartbreak. i tried to guide him to be a decent guy. from the looks of things, i did pretty good. his mother and sisters are also grieving in their own way. please don't forget them in your prayers as well.
