Daddy, as we look back at the yesterdays that we shared with you, we remember with gratitude, still we remember with a saddened yet happy heart. We will always look back on our time with you and we will always think of you with love, courage and admiration!

Today, as we sit here in silence, we feel you still and we miss you - but not with a burdened heart and a bowed head but with joy in our hearts knowing that you are resting in God's kingdom.

I light a candle today as I remember you. You were truly a shining light that illuminated my path and indeed a shining example for us to emulate.

It has been 9 years since you departed this world but it feels like yesterday. We are making good progress over here because you taught us well and God has always been faithful.

We only wish you are with us to share our joy and success.

Rest on Babaa! We miss you!

So comes this day 17th October, the day you unexpectedly passed on, the day I would always remember and reflect upon, the day I felt unimaginable turbulence of your departure and was to begin to face the reality of life and living. The day that gave birth to the days I realized you had giving us the best you could and how much I owed you. No words expressed hear today can do justice to how much love, commitment and care I felt and cherished of you as my Dad. Even in death memories of you still light up ideas and clear up doubts and hopeless situations.

You taught us to confidently trust in God always, believing HE can do even much more for us, far better than you have done. Because of the confidence you gave us as a loving and caring father we understand better and are encourage to approach God as HIS sons and He as the Ultimate Father.

You were among many things, a Journalist, a Soldier, a Knight, an ardent Catholic, an Author, a Script Writer, a Publisher, a Philanthropist, a Significant order, a Husband to a wonderful wife (my Mom), and a father to delightful children. You like any other human was not without your imperfection and weakness. Yet I can honestly say, you are one of the finest and most honourable men I‘ve ever known.

In our hearts you still live on and I know someday, when our destinies in this world have been fulfilled, by HIS grace we shall see again in heaven, with the entire Saint, Angels, Jesus and God the Almighty. Continue to rest in the bosom of God.
