Samantha was an adorable, delightful, intelligent child who grew to be a beautiful young woman who was fun and smiling all the time.  She made friends easily wherever she went.  We had wonderful times together but when her sister Sandra died 6 years prior, at the age of 17, Samantha never really coped.  She moved to Hollywood at the age of 19 with aspirations of acting but sadly was caught up in the drug scene to ease the pain of past sorrows and the emotional abuse of her mother.  She died at the age of 24 from the use of opioid street drugs an all too familiar problem to our society today .  Her dad and I miss her more than words could say or feelings could ever show.
