Her Life

Mrs. Faulkner was born in Senoia, Georgia on January 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Delma Elizabeth Adcock Guwin and Leroy Guwin. She was a Christian by faith. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and do nice things for her family. Everyone was especially fond o her biscuits. She was disabled in her later years so the television became her best friend. She especially loved watching “The Living Dead.” In her younger years she loved to drive fast, and fish. The joys of her life were her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two sons, William Singleton, Jr. (Kitty) of Midway, GA., and Jackie Faulkner (Betty Ann) of Corinth, GA.; six daughters, Penny Steele (Christopher) of Franklin, GA., Mary Steele (Billy Ray) of Standing Rock, AL., Sherry Faulkner of Grantville, GA., Jo Faulkner (Chris Gable) of Moreland, GA., Elaine Reese of Hogansville, GA., and Mary Frances Singleton of Americus, GA.; brother, Jack Guwin (Shelia) of Senoia, GA.; sister, Sandra Rottman of Newnan, GA.; twenty grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Faulkner; son, Jerry (Lee Bo) Faulkner; and grandson’s Lee Steele, and Alex Gable.
