"Scott, so many days where and when I knew you were there, during the past year.  You are loved and missed by many.  Remembering you, honoring you, thinking of you and carrying you in my heart cousin.  Until we see each other again -"

"So last night was a great time for a conversation...I looked at your number, shut the TV off, and just sat there in the dark, the three dogs sitting quietly beside me as if they knew it was important to do so.  I was thinking about what you would say, suggest, or share.  I never realized that the minicatchmeupconversations were such a big part of my life.  Here I am having coffee, it's been almost four months and life is very different.  Football has started, it seems very different to me. Maybe it is sinking in that our perspective about sportsmanship has been lost, and it's no longer about a man and his horse (Bronco) or being loyal to your hometown team (Patriot), it's all about politics, money, and no one really cares about what the media is portraying to our next generation. We did agree that the media would either make you or break you. We'll see what happens with all of that - as I find myself thinking, "you know Scott and I were talking about that, or Scott thought that, or Scott..."  yup, you are still being talked about, all good as usual - love you, miss you - uwma"

As Enzo and I get closer to leaving on our trip to Canada I think more and more of how you will be missed and how great it would have been for you join us.  In a way you still will...we will be riding with your memory in our hearts and your spirit in our keepsake urns attached to our bikes.  I love you and miss you buddy!  Be sure to get all the good routes figured out and we'll ride together again when I meet you on the other side."

"So my day started with puking puppies and flying coffee - yes, now that would have started the laughs of our conversation.  You would always have something to say to share a laugh or to comfort me.  Got a lot going on right now and I reached for the phone only to slowly put it back. Yes, your number is still on the speed dial directory.  I just can't bring myself to remove it. These moments are the most difficult as I'm just at a loss with losing a best friend."

"Scott.. When I went to bed last night I thought of you. When I woke up this morning I thought of you. I cannot believe it has only been a week since you have been gone, it seems like a lifetime. I miss your laugh, I miss your hugs, I miss your listening ear and your words of advice. I miss seeing your face, your smile... I miss you and everything about you. I miss your Donald Duck, your whistle, your goofy nature, your guidance and your gentle strength. I know you will forever be in our memories and in our hearts, but there are times I feel selfish and I want to be able to touch you and hug you one last time. I thank you for being there for me when mom died, for being there for me during the hard times these last few months, for always being there for me. I thank you for the laughs, for your advice, and for your strength. I thank you for being my brother. I love and miss you so very much."

"So, I have to share the fact about how you hung up on me ONCE!  It was a conversation about how I enjoyed being a grammy.  Well, when I was sharing how the boys were disciplined.  They were sent to their room and told to find something to do until supper.  Their toys and tv time were taken away.  As my daughter was cooking supper she heard an explosion.  She ran to the boys bedroom to get them out of the house and when she opened the door, she said she felt like she was walking in to a snow globe.  The boys thought it would be fun to jump off the top bunk bed, grab the ceiling fan, and drop in to the beanbag chair.  Yes, beanbag chair exploded causing white-out conditions.  Scott,  you were laughing so hard that you accidently hung up on me, not realizing you did.  Calling back a few minutes later, you told me that my grandsons would grow up to be fine men and not to worry about them.  When I asked you why, you said, "Anyone that can have fun like that will always be a fun person to be around, just ask me.  And never discipline a child with 'find something to do' because they will!  Remembering this call reminded me that no matter how bad things were in life that we always, always, always, found a way to share a laugh when we chatted.  I'm so going to miss those chats!"

"Scotty was one of the best friends I've ever had I can't believe it's true that he is gone. You are and will forever be in my heart. I miss you tons already. Scotty was a true gem among men. Always a friend to all. We road motor cycles and road four wheeler as often as we could. I would call him often to see if we could ride and it was almost alway big ya sounds great! If he couldn't ride it was always because he was busy helping someone with there needs. He was always ready to do anything for any of his friends or anybody. He could talk to anyone in fun respectful way. Scotty will be missed by many! I will have a hole in my heart for him, but honored to have known him and nothing but good memories of him!  Scotty, I loved you like a brother and will miss you like know other. RIP and will see you on the other side and will go for a long long ride!"

"I guess I'm going to have to post to this page more than once because there's too much to share at one time.  So, the last time we spoke you thought that you would get together with your riding buddy from NY to do a trip out, even if it was to stop in for a coffee.  I was thinking about you yesterday and it happened that another friend of mine, who has not been out on her bike in quite sometime but decided for some reason that she should stop and see me and to have coffee. After she left  I wondered  if you encouraged her from the heavens and beyond -  I do believe!!!"

"If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say good-bye . You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you, no one will ever know. Anonymous~"
