Sergeant Tucker, I am so saddened to hear of your passing. You were a great friend to our son, a generous host when we visited your home, and you helped us work through our parental fears of leaving our son in the Army's hands. I pray for Sherry and your children, that they can think of you in time only with happiness.

SFC Tucker I was saddened to here that we lost a great Brother. You will never be forgotten. You were and will always be my battle from Fort Benning. You taught me so many things to live by as a leader and a family man. I know that your family was always your number one priority. When we were Platoon Sergeants together I looked to you for the guidance and mentorship that you had. I will never forget all of your table graphs and charts that you put together and still use some of them today. Taking Care of soldiers was one thing you enjoyed the most but it did have its ups and downs. SFC Tucker I will never forget you and know that all those you served with, know that it was an honor to have you by our sides. You are a brother in Arms and you will be missed Battle buddy.

Michael, there are no words to even explain what is going through my mind. I just talked to you last week. I've known you since 2004. You are so loved and missed by so many, by Everyone. You made a huge impact on all those who you met. You took two boys who were not yours and raised them, taught them, loved them. And now Michael, now they walk in your steps. You and Shery have a Love like no other. It will never be replaced, never forgotten. The boys carry your last name, and your daughter, my God, the spitting image of you. You made your mark, so many people hurt right now, but you will never, for one minute, ever be forgotten. Watch over my shery please. We Love you

Michael you will forever be in my hearts and prayers. God will protect your family since your not around to protect them anymore. I cannot answer why you were taken at this age but everything does have a purpose.

Michael,
It breaks my heart knowing I will never be able to call you and hear "Hey sis, what's up?" Knowing I will never talk to or see y o u again. You were the best brother anyone could ever wish for, even if you did get my truck impounded. I will always remember the late night phone calls to come pick you up and making you miss the CSM 7 mile run. And I definitely will not forget the night you called and told me you wanted to marry Shery... You will always be my brother and Ashlynn's godfather. May you rest in peace and watch out for us from above.
I love you

Tucker,

I don't even know where to start because writing this kinda means this is real and is not just a bad dream...

We have had some awesome times in our 13 years of friendship, you were like a big brother to me and I loved you very much. Even though we didn't talk as much as we should have in the last few years, it doesn't make it easier to say goodbye! You truly were an amazing person, I just wish that you would have had more time in this world so that everybody could have experienced your love and your goofiness. You were an amazing friend and brother and you will be missed more than you know!!! See you again someday buddy!

To Shery, Elaina, Zach, and Raistlin... My heart is broken for you!!! I know words cannot express what you are going through right now but please know that my love is with you now and ALWAYS. He was truly an amazing man!!!

To the rest of his family... Thank you for raising such an amazing person! My heart is with you ALL!!!

Hugs and kisses to you all,
Vicky Martin

Kuwait and East Africa

I knew Sgt Michael Tucker as a ray of hope in the most darkest times. Always funny and looking out for his soldiers. Was technically and tactically proficient in all that he did. Was a true 11B Infantryman and held the highest standards. We will sorely be missed.

I knew SFC Tucker when he was deployed to East Africa. I had a great chat with him and nothing had changed in almost 14 years. Was still a prankster but the most well rounded NCO I have ever meet.
