Dr. K. T. Henry, II of Columbus passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. He was 60 years of age.
The son of the late Mr. K. T. Henry, Sr. and Mrs. Willie M. Jackson Henry , Dr. Henry was born in Ft. Benning, GA. He was a 1972 graduate of Hardaway High School, and obtained a BA degree from Columbus State University. He also received his Masters degree from Troy State University and Doctorate from Argosy University. He was a devout member of the Cusseta Road Church of Christ. He served faithfully as Secretary of Incorporation at the Cusseta Road Church of Christ. A retired educator within the Muscogee County School system, his last tenure was at Eddy Middle School. He retired from the United States Army as Sergeant First Class.
Survivors include: his wife: Mrs. Tammy T. Henry; four children, Nicole, K. T.,III, Robert and Amber; four siblings, James Henry (Mary), Cynthia Parker, Sylvia Eatmon and Elizabeth Short (Steven); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
